Your information. Your boundaries. Your voice.
Empowering Ground Pty Ltd respects your privacy and is committed to safe, respectful participation across Her Pathway and Her Ground.

Your information
We collect information needed to respond to enquiries, organise programs and support participation. This may include contact details, program interests and, at enrolment, emergency contacts and relevant health or support information.
Information is usually provided by you or, where appropriate, a parent, legal guardian or authorised partner. Optional information is your choice, although we need enough detail to respond or arrange participation.
Please do not include a child’s full name, date of birth, photographs or health information in an initial enquiry.
We use information for program communication, administration, participant support, consent, feedback and incident management. We share only what is necessary with authorised personnel, delivery partners, service providers, advisers, insurers or authorities, obtaining consent where required.
We do not sell personal information. Optional marketing requires separate permission, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
Expressions of interest
An expression of interest starts a conversation. It does not confirm enrolment, guarantee a place or provide permission to participate.
Our team uses your details to respond and discuss next steps. For someone under 18, we ask a parent or legal guardian to make the initial enquiry. Program details and participation requirements are provided before enrolment.
Child safety & wellbeing
We are committed to protecting children and young people from harm, respecting their voices and boundaries, and responding to concerns.
Our Child Safe Policy and Code of Conduct are available on request at hello@empoweringground.com.au.
Consent & participation
Activities may involve physical contact, partner practice and floor movement. Instructors explain activities before practice. Participants can ask questions, decline contact, request adjustments, observe, take a break or stop. A tap or request to stop is respected immediately.
For under-18s, we seek parent or legal guardian permission and involve the young person in decisions. That permission does not override their choice to stop an activity.
Please contact us privately about injuries, access requirements or support needs. Participants do not need to share personal experiences of violence or trauma.
Physical activities carry injury risks. We provide relevant information before participation. Our programs develop practical skills and options; they cannot guarantee protection or replace medical, psychological or specialist care.
Photography & video
Promotional photography and video require separate permission. For under-18s, we seek parent or legal guardian permission and the young person’s agreement.
Instructor checks & insurance
Our instructors are certified Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belts. Instructors and coaches working with children hold current NSW Working with Children Check clearances, verified by Empowering Ground.
We maintain active insurance for our program activities, with evidence of cover available to delivery partners on request.
Questions or concerns
Participants, families and partners can contact us about privacy, safety or their program experience. Children and young people can contact us directly or ask a trusted adult to help.
