More than Jiu-Jitsu. Skills for a brighter tomorrow.

Her Pathway is a structured learning program designed to support girls and young women in developing practical life skills through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, self-defence and guided reflection.

Grounded in physical, emotional and relational literacy, the program encourages participants to build awareness, understand and communicate boundaries, practise emotional regulation and make informed decisions.

Through progressive learning experiences, it aims to nurture confidence, resilience, connection and personal agency.

Learn. Practise. Apply.

Delivered across the year, each five-week cycle follows a progressive learning structure with age-appropriate objectives, practical activities, guided reflection and supporting materials. Sessions are scheduled around school terms and tertiary study periods, including TAFE and VET.

Focus | Awareness & boundaries

Exploring body awareness, balance and safe movement through BJJ, while recognising emotions, communicating boundaries and building confidence.

The Educational Approach

The aim is not to create fear or promote combat sport participation. It is to build transferable life skills through instruction, guided practice, reflection and age-appropriate scenarios, helping participants recognise options, seek help and make responsible decisions when situations become uncomfortable or challenging.

Every peer group explores all four dimensions through BJJ practice, guided reflection and age-appropriate learning experiences.
